It was 6.7k in marches crash, I haven’t checked mining cost calculator but i would roughly guess 7.5k

In the U.S. average cost was about $5k in March, but there are countries where it was much higher (South Korea was about $26k) and also where it was much lower (even some less than $1k). No idea what it is now, I imagine not a whole lot more or less than that, though.

I don't mine. That said, I don't think mining cost even matters if you're trying to determine a floor. 4chan likes to believe the market's being manipulated by whales and miners, but a lot of the dumping is organic in that people really have given up.

>> No.9578650

It can't crash forever. We already oversold hard, now it's just panic. We're supposed to rebound to 8k.

Who the fuck is actually dumping here. Is there something wrong with their brains? Are there people out there who really think we're going back to 5k? Go ahead. Waste your money.

I'm not saying BTC won't recover - hey, maybe it'll bounce to $9k by next week - but it's not impossible, hell, it's not even improbable, that this (a) continues to dump to $6k or lower and/or (b) literally never re-attains the prices we're blowing past now.

Why is everyone so surprised? Look at the 6 or 12 hour charts for BTC/USD. A month ago, there was that huge green dildo from $6700 to $8090 out of nowhere when there was haedly any volume. And it didn't just stop there, it kept rising every week with no corrections. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a huge red dildo down to sub $7K to complete the bart.

Sometimes things don't recover. Just like sometimes a human dies for a disease. Plenty of examples in history of bubbles that popped and did not re-inflate.
