Consider the opportunity cost of what you're doing. Cut your losses, get whatever money you can out, and invest in something that's rising. Look at this chart. Realistically look at this chart. This stock has been tanking and it's not going to rebound. If you honesly think this will hit $1.00 you are deluctional. Sure it may go up for a few days. But it's headed down overall so cash out as high as you can. This is headed for $0.15 or less. It's a huge loss. It really is. And it's only going to get worse. Play it smart, cut your loss and switch to a stock that can actually make you money. Buy DWTI at low $90s and sell when it hits $105 or more. It's been doing this for months now and it'll be headed back down in a week or so. Dump all you can into it to try and get your money back quicker. I've done this twice now with three shares, made $30 first time then $50 second time. Could have made more because it kept going up but I wanted a guaranteed profit so I cashed out as soon as I knew I had something. Win or loose - get in, get out, and more the fuck on.

We've had multiple versions of stock general threads before and surprise - NO ONE PARTICIPATES. This boards has a thousand visitors A DAY and most don't know shit about stocks much less that you can trade them for free.

The only way I learned you can trade stocks for free and even got into it at all is by looking up what Robinhood was. And the only way I knew to look that up was because I saw it on the front page of /biz/.

The REASON we keep it a robinhood thread and not a stocks general thread is to keep new people coming in all the time. Again people visit /biz/ all the time and have always, and will always ignore stock general threads. But show a visitor you can trade for free, BAM suddenly you have people joining the thread and talking. The ones that are in this thread already here know it's about stocks, hence the -

I have about £6k invested in ETFs and a couple of stocks. Thinking of investing on some bond ETFs before the IRs go up.

I am mostly focusing on capital preservation in the long run. The end goal would be a diversified portfolio across 2-3 asset classes, mostly focusing on developed markets and modest quarterly dividend payments.

Now is the best time to buy if you think that stock X will go up. In my case, I am very certain that a lot of the ETFs will appreciate in future, regardless of short term volatility.

Collectively, my portfolio is down 6% and I am not anxious or worried as I am sure the indices will bounce back.

Still, their Q3 ER should be quite extraordinary. They've already reported huge gains in Q2 compared to last year, and on top of that they see higher sales and revenue in Fall / End of year anyways.
