>Gave me 500 of these gems
>Forget about them on years on end.
>See BTC interest pick up in 2017
>Friend goes broke, lie to him and tell him i lost the BTC (Like I'd ever give them back)
>Invest BTC into ICO's being shilled
>Turn 500btc into 1350
>Sell around 18k

...mfw life has changed. I see people now scrounging for this shit whilst I've made it. I literally goto conferences and people just know you're minted. ICO's hounding you, get given free tokens. Never read a whitepaper in my life. Oh and the girls at these events, total cock whores. And all I have to do is be myself. Oh and pic related helps too.

P.S Whilst us "bitcoiners" are out enjoying the world youre stuck at home all day trying to catch a pump whilst youre holding my bags. Appreciate it.

Feels good to be an early adopter. The envy pours from every man's eyes.

The relationship is ruined either way. If he's anything like you he would feel entitled to my money....so it's not really a gift is it? 1M isn't shit, and he'd eventually resent me for only giving him 20%. 5M goes fast too when you're fucking giving it away.

You don't really accept something as yours until you do something with it. He completely forgot about them for years he only cares now that he's rich. His friend wouldn't have given him the 500 btc unless he thought they would be worth alot of money in the future and because he wanted to help his friend. For all you know his friend got robbed of his btc. Having another address with 500 bitcoins would have helped alot.

1000 XLM is not a life-changing amount of money. It's not unreasonable to keep it because you'll still have to keep your job, pay bills etc...

20m is "I never have to do anything I don't want to do ever again" type of money. Now, if this LARP had 500 btc and turned it into 20m through smart buys and sells and whatnot, I wouldn't say his friend is entitled to any of it. Really his friend isn't entitled to anything since it was a gift. However, if a friend gave you what eventually became the seed money (and probably set you on this path in the first place) tossing him even 5% would be a life-changing amount for the friend, and you'd still be rich as fuck.

But this is just a sweaty larper. Fucking sage
