Tell me about your experiences with cashing out Bitcoin from ATMs.

What was the most you've cashed out?

Did the process go smoothly?

Was there cameras attached to the ATM?

>> No.9400845

None have that option you can only buy

I tried to cash out. My bank sent the money I withdrew back to Coinbase. I called the bank manager later. His exact words, "You made your bed. Now shit in it."

THIS. Don't get it in your head to try to pry the machine open to steal the bitcoins, they'll get you and most likely will be tagged in some way.

60 bucks. The machine had low funds
>Did the process go smoothly?
Yea it went fine, took awhile for a confirm. Except some old boomer got his debit card stuck in the machine and was watching over my shoulder to see what I was doing.
>Was there cameras attached to the ATM?
Yes there was, but that didnt concern me, now they want phone numbers for buying and selling so I just buy crap online to "cash out".

Should I

>wait 5 days for bank transfer to go through
>buy from ATM right now but pay 9500 per btc

Obvious 9500 is overpriced asf but it theoretically could be over 9.5 in 5 days

Never cash out your bitcorns in atm machines. In my experience The market spread is very wide and you will get culled by transaction fees

I've done it twice. Fortunately there is one about 40 minutes from home with just a 2% seller's fee. Unheard of for BTC atms

I withdrew 500 dollars once and 3k another time. They take your ID for anything over 1500. I regret giving my ID but I needed the cash badly for a hooker and some other shit.

the machine had it posted to explicitly not do this. I didn't have time to create another wallet and now that I think about it, there was probably a hidden camera anyways. I just hope they aren't passing this shit along to IRS
