So Facebook is planning on releasing Facecoin. What if:
>Micosoft releases a Bing rewards cryptocurrency
>Amazon releases Amazon Cash
>Airlines release milleage programs in crypto
>Walmart cash
>CSV rewards coin
>Stabucks cash
>And so on
I mean, why wouldn't they? It's easy money for them. They gain nothing by supporting Bitcoin and Ethereum. They could easily release their own currencies now that the US government gave a green light to crypto. Also, blockchain research serves them well. Blockchain is the future of databases and data storage.

Again, there is no reason why big companies would support open source projects when they could be releasing their own currencies and holding a good chunk of them. They might see this as the future of stocks.

They're going to learn the hard way I suppose. If they want to do a rewards system with crypto they'd be far better off using a color coin on bch.

This is unironically what is going to happen. Large companies will create their own while smaller ones will just hire companies who specialize in creating them to do it for them.

They are not decentralized and sooner or later the masses start to understand this. Meanwhile you can make a lot money in this centralized blockchain space.

The fact that you children on this board are coping with 'boomer this' and 'boomer that' is hilarious. The thing is, him, bill gates, and munger, are all correct - deep down you know they are - deep down you all know these imaginary internet coins are completely worthless, its just hilarious to see you all try to make light of this, brush it off as 'them accumulating' or trying to 'fud to buy cheap'. Absolutely hilarious, cope harder little children. This is the level of naïvete coming from the gen Z's and millennials of this board. These men are worth billions and billions which you can not even conceive. Microsoft stock alone has a higher market cap than all the entirety of crypto in existence. Nothing you can do and 'paradigm shift' are scaring or worrying them. Btc can become the world reserve currency over night and the tangible assets these men own will not be affected. Idk why I'm even saying this, no one itt has the intellectual capacity to understand, just keep touting 'theyre dumb' 'old boomers have no idea about modern day technology' and the future is truly in your coins, because u own some and want to be rich, lmfao. I reply to these typres of comments quite regularly. Im grown up. I also bought an Audi in 2016 and i have an apartment with a healthy amount of equity - thanks to crypto currencies.

I still have massive bags. Apart from that I truley believe in DLT. Forget currencies, this shit is industry changing. It will continue to be the biggest tech breakthrough sibce the internet and it will roll out, with or without the currency aspect in play.

Furthermore, I enjoy cryptocurrencies because apart from giving me wealth, i have learnt ALOT about the financial system, how money works, trading and funny enough the financial market. One of the most interesting things I have seen recently is SingularlyNET. Check it out.

Anyways the cohorde of crypto investors are speculating. Betting on if the future will be carved by cryptocurrencies. It is too early to tell if this is the case and you’ll be a fool if you listen to the likes of Buffet and Munger but youd be a bigger fool to think its going to take over the banking industry etc etc. it is too early.

Can I ask why you are emotional and hate anything to do with crypto? Is it because you think the wealth created is undeserved or something?

Pic related i had this for dinner ladt night. Thanks to cryptos I eat like this five times a week.

Telegram's ICO pretty much killed KIN. Competition matters. The money that gets invested in Facecoin will have to come from somewhere. This is a zero sum game. So if corporations begin to release their own cryptocurencies, everything else will lose market cap.

Blockchain = distributed cryptographically signed data structure. If you don't need it to be trustless than every use case for it is better served by a web app with a regular database for data storage. If you do need it to be trustless than by definition no single entity should be able to control it. So this whole thing is either just marketing or somebody in those companies is trying to pad his CV with some hot buzzwords.
