>Welcome to 16 hours days week.
Dude I just said I have been at PwC for 5 years, it's fine to go from a 23.5 hour/day to a 16 hour/day
>>9336133
>what was ur reason
A former coworker is starting a consulting startup which goes in a more tech direction. I will be leading the startup with him and continue to do consulting, but more in the direction of digitalization

>What did you study?
Computer Science
>How did you get the job?
I applied, the interview consisted of basically only shit-questions like "how many baseballs can you fit in an airbus A320", I did good and got the job.
>What was a usual day like?
Meetings, make powerpoints, find solutions to client problems, later more coaching fresh employees when I was promoted to Assistant Manager
>How much did you make?
Converted to US$, I started with 92k $, after promotion 117k $ + a variable bonus (target bonus about 7k $)
>Why did you leave?
Already answered

I know that other PwC locations are committing to crypto more than we were. I would rather not disclose my location and not give internal information, because framing me with the info that I gave ITT should be already fairly easy

If you couldnt handle wagecucking and overtime, just wait until realities of running your own business hits you. You sound like an guy without balls.

The guy answering you hasn’t worked a day in his life. Good on you getting out and going for it. It consulting companies can be successful based off Seling “social media marketing packages” as their only service/ product, you’ll blow up. Just make sure to network and don’t brun bridges. Now might be the time to do some favors for some people, if there are any who need a hand.

Best of luck.

What the fuck does that have to do with a job at PWC? Weird question to ask at a job interview for that.

Not that difficult to answer. They just want to see that you're not an idiot and can give a reasonable estimate.

>> No.9336659

We agreed on a specific model of A320 since the A320 is a family, not a single model. The single models are sized in different ways. I asked how it is equipped (does it have seats? Is it modified to fit more cargo?). I looked up references to estimate the volume of said models.

I calculated and estimated best and worst cases for the unanswered questions (how are the balls packaged?) and provided a range including a safety margin on the worst case

why is consulting a meme?

t. looking to get into management consulting
t. got dinged at McKinsey in final rounds because one single partner was just a dick (totally got along and connected with all other interviewers like crazy)

hoping for Bain & BCG to have some more humane partners

Thanks. I'd be applying for a consulting data scientist position. Mostly for the experience because salaries in Europe (NL at least) aren't even that great until you get promoted to manager.
So from reading this thread I get the impression you were in strategy, right? Didn't you think it was too much manager speak BS coming from a CS background?
