Easy wash trading on one exchange, If i made a coin tomorrow and put 10 trillion tokens and wash traded an ico of 20 million i could literally be #1 on market cap tomorrow even though the coin wouldnt be worth that.

Its like bitcoin being worth what it is now BUT there might be 4 million unaccount bitcoins that are irrevocably unusable through dead wallets and the marketcap does not reflect those coins.
