There is always discussions about how Chainlink is gonna revolutionise insurance payments, bond payments, bank transfer etc. How though? Like will it be like Ripple that it's gonna make bank transfers faster? Will it basically make SWIFT payments faster and automatic?

The premise of smart contracts is you can build in automated contingencies.

Currently, there are people employed to verify certain conditions are met, and manually execute certain contingencies. These people can be fired and the process automated.

Almost similar to how u used to have people taking orders at Mcdonalds and now we have computers, it cuts costs for McD, and makes their bottom line higher.
