How is chain link a 1000$ coin if it already has 350m coins in circulation and its only at 50 cents?

Imagine feeling like this is a thread that needs to be made and actually going through with posting it.

how often do they plan to add new circulating supply

well considering the fact there isnt a single coin in existance worth over $100 with a circulating supply even remotely close to 350m let alone 100m i think its a fair enough point

hahahah that linkie delusion

literally the highest circulating supply out of any of the coins worth over 100$ is ethereum at 99m

how the fuck do you think your piece of shit coin which is already at 350m while being only worth 50 cents i ever going to even break 100$?

the only way its even possible is if bitcoin and eth were worth like 100k a piece which i highly doubt is going to happen

Good thing I'll be a millionaire long before it ever reaches $100.

its never going to reach 100$ though

this is like a 5-15$ coin at best based on the current market

here's the catch. Go back 2 years ago and people were saying identical shit about ETH and those same people are now in the spirit world.
It puts things in perspective when you realize this entire market is still under 1/2 a trillion, and is an entire world market. US alone is spending $7.3 trillion on defense for 2018. Is it so hard to believe that digital currencies could reach a market cap of 1/2 that world wide within a year or so? Not really, especially if the paradigm shifts into actual use cases and not just speculation.
Now, what has the greatest likelihood for a real world use case? Nobody knows for certain, but whatever does first will own the entire crypto currency space.

eth and chain link arent comparable. chainlink has a circulating supply of 350m while being worth only 50 cents. eth has a circulating supply of 99m while being worth 766$. what you're proposing would mean that btc would have to x100 from where it is now...

i cannot see it happening.

secondly even if that were to happen chainlink still wouldnt be an optimal choice for making money. because the whole market would moon and a moon wouldnt alleviate chainlinks high circulating supply. you would earn money but theres still better coins

350mil circulating from a one billion supply. It's pretty straight forward, the nodes themselves require certain amounts of Coins hence the large circulation, accumulation is a must to run these nodes, more accumulation means more nodes. Once its working people who want to profit long term will have nodes set up for buisnesses who will eventually adopt oracle. Business adopting is a given, and who do you think will want to own the nodes, businesses.

This can be use throughout any number of businesses, supply and demand becomes demand as oracle is adopted meaning supply is dictated to by whoever is selling not by coin circulation.

The line of thinking is that once LINK produces real world application and holders start staking into nodes, the effective circulating supply could fall drastically and demand would continue to rise with the price. This is the singularity that everyone speaks about from my understanding. It makes sense on a logical level, but only time will tell if it plays out in a similar manner. Oracles, specifically decentralized, are the next progression in smart contracts and crypto imo so I bought 5K LINK. I may double that number but should have when I had a much better opportunity a few weeks ago. This is long term speculation, but by 2020 I'd be surprised if I didn't make some serious gains, assuming they achieve their goals.

Dependent on the application and developers, however the total supply has always been 1,000,000,000 or 1 billion. 350 million is but a small fraction, once its dropped and circulation meets with total supply, demand will surge and can only increase, considering that 350 million is %35 and its sitting at 50 cents isn't any indication of where the market could go as it hasn't even reached max circulating supply.

This is more then likely due to the product being in its very early baby stages, and that when the product is completely implementable nodes will then be open for people to properly buy in hence. However people are already buying in and we are seeing growth without our a full singularity even so.
