SBI virtual currency is a new crypto exchange being built by the SBI group in Japan (60+ banks with 85% of national market share). From their own estimates they'll have 8.5 million new users from day 1

Coming this summer and they are only starting with one coin and it isn't BTC or ETH. I hope you guys are accumulating.

That particular statement is not reflected elsewhere. Ripple themselves and other have stated multiple times that only XRP will available on launch.

We'll only know for sure when it does but SBI is long on XRP. The own 11% of Ripple and their CEO is constantly posting about XRP

SBI will launch exclusively with XRP pairs and has an 11% stake in Ripple. They also have an expected 8.5 million users just at launch (coinbase has around 16 currently).

Considering 45% of XRP volume comes from Asia, the SBI exchange launch is absolutely massive.

You forgot to add BCH would be the settlement currency, arp would be the remittance coin.

Yoshitaka suggested that BCH would be regarded as the settlement currency, as the scarcity of BTC makes it expensive and “tiring as a settlement currency”. He added that XRP would be a remittance currency.
