Anon, I'm gonna assume you're relatively young or at least haven't been in the work force much. Where I work they get a hell of a laugh out of goosing people, playing grab ass etc. It's manufacturing so it's a bit different than an office.

The key is, they only do it if they get a reaction. If they goose you or slap your ass as a joke and get no reaction, they stop after 2 or 3 times. Now if you tense up, jump, or make a scene, they will fuck with you nonstop, as will everyone else since word gets around fast.

I'd say, unless they are touching your genitals, just ignore it and don't act like a spaz. Remember, you're getting paid at work, you're not on your own time, so sometimes your "personal boundaries" are different.

Example, you might not like speaking in front of people at all. Your boss tells you to give a presentation, guess what, you either do it or look for a different job. This isn't a good example, but just remember, sometimes you have to "play a different role" at work than you do in your personal life.

As long as it's nothing sexual laugh it off. Dude frisks you? Say "hey man, usually people take me to dinner and a movie before they get to cop a feel." Sounds gay as fuck but it will shut him up quicker than getting mad.

I agree, it's fucked. When I started working there it was 80% boomers. They've mainly retired now but the ass grabby culture remains. Some departments are fucking ridiculous, but most have drifted away from it now.

I guess it was socially unacceptable for boomers to get guy on guy action so they had to satisfy their desires somehow. I honestly have no clue but I'm glad that shit has mostly stopped.
