or
two; play BTC/alts, BCH/alts, and BTC/BCH

how is it that people can't come to the conclusion that having both is probably their best bet?

What most people don't realise about Falkvinge is that after going all in on Bitcoin early on he got spooked and lost his shirt with Bitcoin (BTC) and sold most of it - 2014-2015 before it bounced back if I remember right. He then only backed bcash as a way to claw his way back in.

People who support BCH are on average far more knowledgeable about crypto than BTC supporters.

Think about it. Most people don't even know what the fuck a blockchain is. They just buy what they have been shilled (BTC) and support it blindly because they are invested in it.

In order to support BCH over BTC you generally have to have some understanding of the problem otherwise what reason do you have to go against the brand name.

Although there has been a definite increase in pro-BCH threads, there has also been paid pajeeting by Blockstream to hate on BCH. The reason people are so pro BCH right now is because smart contracts, bigger blocks and colored coins are on the horizon, meaning Bitcoin Cash is about to fucking moon.

I was busy shilling BCH just after the fork (once I'd filled up). If you dumb faggots had listened you'd be ~300-1500% better off right now.

Having said all that, Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin and even at ~1.5k it is grossly underpriced.

Just had a look at Ver's twitter. The quality of his audience is laughable. Picked out a profile of one of his latest batch of followers at random. I find it incredible that he has a bigger twitter following than some big social media stars!! Sums it up really. lol

I'm talking about people in general obviously. And those original cypherpunks are on both sides. I think mostly they just dislike Ver it isn't so much they agree with blockstream. Nick Szabo dislikes the fork which is disappointing but I am not discussing small samples of people I am discussing everyone at all involved in crypto - even people who just buy it speculatively for no other reasons than to make money and who know nothing about the history or tech.

Given bitcoin cash's adoption rate and miner support, Bitcoin doesn't have much longer. If it goes up, transaction volume and fees will push people toward BCH (On bitpay, BCH fees will appear much lower) if it continues to slide down, users will lose confidence and explore alt coins.

Bitcoin cash is also getting a protocol upgrade. Hype could push even more merchants to adopting the chain
