The rest of the update for your brainlets..

A plugin that accepts any crypto currency. Should be able to be implemented into any e commerce site according to their blog. Powered by Request ofc, think massive token burn.

ERC20 tokens supported on the network, DGX, DAI, KNC, OMG & REQ

And possibly most importantly Bitcoin is supported on the test network.

REQ is going to be the INDUSTRY STANDARD for crypto donations, crypto ecommerce, and crypto crowdfunding (that includes raising money for ICOs). The plug in is free and easy to install so there's really no reason for smaller online retailers to not download it and start accepting crypto.

What's more, once this becomes the industry standard for online crypto payments (meaning everyone has the pay with request button) we just have to wait for one of the autistic spergs in these other projects to solve the fiat problem for good. REQ is completely currency agnostic so all we need is an oracle that will allow us to integrate whatever solution the other projects come up with. Right now you've got spergs like Vitalik and Jed and the OmiseGoys working on this problem. Once it's solved, it's game over motherfuckers, game motherfucking over.

Nobody got req for that price. Presale was at 20% discount over the ICO price. People that bought at the post-ICO dip got it cheaper than the presale whales. at around 4c (-40% from ICO).
The main problem is that the buying pressure is not that high, as seen by the shit volume, but that is bound to change.
The fact that there may be some kid whales keeping the price down to maximize the number of tokens burnt is possible, but they are idiots that do not understand what buying pressure is and why what they are doing is meaningless, and will not be able to control the price as soon as vulome ramps up a bit.

whenever some crypto announces a "partnership" like this, all it's actually saying is "they're going to let allow our tech for payments, alongside X others", no?

It's not like it's going to be a core part of the company's stack or something.

How many "private placement buyers" (whatever the fuck that is) do you think there were? 10? 100? 1000? Even at 10,000 that leaves plenty of room for tremendous growth. There are plenty of millionaires in the world. Only 36,000 wallets hold REQ. Maybe 100,000 people in the world have REQ, and most of those have very tiny amounts. The top 1000 wallets all have 67k+. If even the top 50% of wallets became millionaires over night, nothing about the world around you would change. You wouldn't even notice.
