LINKER here. Not trying to FUD but JP Morgan have ran a test using their own centralised oracles. What are the implications?

its for internal use, has not much to do with chainlink, but IF they want to monetize their APIs and do business with others via smart contracts they will have to connect to the chainlink network.

JP Morgan is also involved in chainlink and lots of other blockchain related projects.

is it agnostic? is it decentralized? does it matter once swift tells them theyre using link regardless? fuck outta here

nothing. even if swift and JP morgan never intended to use Chainlinks solution, we have a fuck ton of other potential enterprise clients.

poa is better than link, igor said himself, you can build link on poa but cant build poa on link
linkies are dumb as fuck

but they do, they are involved in IC3 (like smartcontracts.com).
also J.P Morgan had lots of people at Synchronize 2018

Can someone explain to me what boomers use blockchain for if it's not decentralized? Isn't the trade off of blockchain that it's an inherently costly and redundant method of storing data in the name of trustlessness and security? If it's centralized doesn't it just give you all the cons of a blockchain without any of the benefits?
