Do you know that ChainLink, besides providing decentralized oracle system, can be used for decentralized computing? Due to LINK building on Intel SGX, you can hand ChainLink a blender computation for example, and LINK nodes configured for it will compute it and send it back in a decentralized way, without even knowing what they're computing (the beauty of Intel SGX). It can even immediately send that computation over to a smart contract. This effectively BTFO iExec, SONM, Golem, DADI and all other computational coins.

Did you know...... that....... It's fucking over. Don't tell yourself otherwise. You are an actual brainlet if you don't understand the implications of VEN's announcement. Even if you ignore the fact that most businesses would just utilize VeChain's smart contract platform with its built-in oracle rendering your shittoken absolutely fucking useless, their announcement also implies the simple fact that literally EVERY SINGLE ONE IN THIS BOARD WHO HAS HIGHER THAN ROOM TEMP IQ. Any smart contract platforms can just have their own oracles. Blockchain agnosticism doesn't fucking matter because everyone would just shit out their own oracle network because IT'S THAT FUCKING EASY. Your "moonshot" isn't anything special, sorry LINKies. Get absolutely fucking fucked lmao. On that note, see how it's currently pumping? That's the whales propping the price up as they finally sell their positions on this gamble of a token. I'm sorry, the dream is over. Go fuck yourselves. It's over

LOL stfu you scrub. i.exec already has developed their own functioning oracle between the Ethereum blockchain and XtremWeb-HEP. i.exec will also have full support for Intel SGX enclave in May 2019.

Enjoy your 4chan memecoin with no roadmap while i.exec leaves you in the dust.

>Enjoy your 4chan memecoin with no roadmap while i.exec leaves you in the dust.

for the chainlets here who just buy 4chanshillshitcoins:

XtremWeb-HEP is a mature, solid, and open-source Desktop Grid software that allows to use any kind of computing resources for executing compute-intensive or data-intensive applications. The architecture of XtremWeb-HEP is three roles: clients, which submit tasks and data, the dispatcher, which schedules the tasks to the computing resources, and workers, which executes the tasks and send the results back to the clients. Because of its simplicity, this approach has proven to be extremely scalable, reliable and secure.

I repeat, i.exec already has a functioning oracle between eth & xtremWeb-HEP.

p.s. i.exec already supports blender: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epIrtETCnp0

p.s i.exec already supports docker applications

learn to do some research instead of jerking off OP who is an absolute fucktard.

Decentralised computin is a meme: cross verification and sharing data among 100 PC around the globe is not beneficial to computation speed.
If you think it somehow parallelises your computation: it doesn't. If you write shit code it won't run faster on a decentralisedd computing service.
Plus, these platforms may actually be more expensive to use than big cloud services.

If that's all you have to say in response to my post and you can't dispute anything else, then it's fairly obvious you are wrong about chainlink. topkek have a nice day linklet.

This has just made me think. With ChainLink couldn't you essentially replicate services like iExec/Golem by creating external adaptors that focus on heavy computational tasks, not necessarily just data fetching.
For example, I suppose you could build an adaptor which runs in an enclave which is sole purpose is to run a very heavy computational tasks based on input parameters of the consumer contract creator? Maybe something like using a docker container with a fixed set of tasks for example which the creator can specify.
It's not like this use-case would need to use multiple nodes for the query, rather just picking one node which supports that adaptor. As a node operator, you could charge more for this solely based on the computational resource needed but in effect, it turns ChainLink into potentially a distributed computational network rather than just the typical definition of an oracle.
