Everyone with half a brain has invested in Golem that has an infinetly more refined technology and is already live with its beta product on the mainnet.

Golem can be installed on virtually any modern PC in the world; iExec needs a fully configured node.

Golem is orders of magnitude better than iExec.

Brass Beta is just a testbed. And it is working. I have installed it on 3 PCs with a few clicks and zero problems.
There are no taks because Golem has made zero marketing communication up to now.

Again the difference with Iexec is in the orders of magnitude domain. Millions of devices for Golem, versus a few thousands for Iexec.

It is no big deal to distribute computation on nodes configured with all the specs you give. This Iexec model anyway that is doomed to remain in a very limited in scale.

The exact opposite is true for Golem. More and more software will be added in due time, and the full support for GPUs is probably only weeks away.

Moreover we are not far away from the official 1.0 version of Brass.

Golem and IExec are not even in the same league.

Oh, and btw, Vitalik himself supports Golem.
RIP IExec.

Yes, and Vitalik is only a 'russian-canadian' student, I suppose.

I know PHDs that would deserve to be on food stamps for that matter.

IExec is not garbage of course, it is simply a tiny service structurally doomed to stay small.

Golem has the potential for an exponential growth with millions or tens of millions of devices connected.

From the IExec White paper about v2: "In this version we build the Market Network, firstly addressing the Application providers and Server providers." Where have you read that you will be able to install it on any PC ? " the focus will be on establishing partnerships with infrastructure providers, such as smaller
Cloud providers, individuals and miners interested in renting their server farms, mining rigs or home servers.". Home servers-->nodes with an IExec configuration following IExec specs.

Nowhere near a generalized service like Golem

LOL stfu you scrub. i.exec already has developed their own functioning oracle between the Ethereum blockchain and XtremWeb-HEP. i.exec will also have full support for Intel SGX enclave in May 2019.

Enjoy your 4chan memecoin with no roadmap while i.exec leaves you in the dust.
XtremWeb-HEP is a mature, solid, and open-source Desktop Grid software that allows to use any kind of computing resources for executing compute-intensive or data-intensive applications. The architecture of XtremWeb-HEP is three roles: clients, which submit tasks and data, the dispatcher, which schedules the tasks to the computing resources, and workers, which executes the tasks and send the results back to the clients. Because of its simplicity, this approach has proven to be extremely scalable, reliable and secure.

I repeat, i.exec already has a functioning oracle between eth & xtremWeb-HEP.

p.s. i.exec already supports blender: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epIrtETCnp0

p.s i.exec already supports docker applications

As for golem (LOL), see pic.

According to this article the 'worker' profile for IExec is similar to a miner profile. It is not going to be a mass market.
Golem is installed as an app on virtually any PC. There are orders of magnitude more people ready to install an app on a PC than people ready to run a mining software on an home server.

Golem has already released a 'basic working prototype'. Actually it has released the beta version of Brass on its mainnet. In 1-2 months the 1.0 version is going to be launched. You can theoretically already earn GNTs anyway, simply installing Brass beta on your PC.

He draws a parallel because it is the same thing. Home servers-->nodes with an IExec configuration following IExec specs. Not different from any mining software.

Why do you want to read in the IExex white paper more than what they clearly state ? They are focused on established server farms, mining rigs and, lastly, 'home servers'. Home servers are not 'any PCs'.

Golem is a generalized app that you can install anywhere.

>> No.9056321

Golem is years away from being able to provide anywhere near the computing power RLC will be able to provide next month. If you look at RLCs roadmap you'd see they'll eventually add support for individual computers to provide their computing resources, but it's not a priority because linking millions of PCs to run complex Dapps is a meme
