Right on OP, I'm living in my parents finished full size basement (family business is remodeling/interior design related). It's more comfy than the $1800/mo+ apartments I lived in when I was in University & doing my residency. I can literally retire before I hit 35 and easily maintain a middle class lifestyle. Its probably the best decision I've made to live at home. Not only do I not have to pay rent, but my mom does my laundry, and cooks. Even when I have to pull 90+ hour weeks, I have time to go to the gym and social events.
