Don't invest in things you don't understand, and ask yourself which one of these coins on the market will still exist in the next 10-20 years. BTC, and LTC will certainly continue to exist, ETH may get replaced. Good tokens to long are EOS(needs time wait until working product to invest), and Bancor(actual working product), Orchid (once it hits market). Place 40% of money you start with in BTC (now when it is cheap) and 30% in LTC, (now when it is cheap), 20% in EOS, BNT, and Orchid. The other 10% on riskier pennystock/pump'n dump tokens. B/c if one of those risky plays go up 10x that 10% of you position just become 100% of your total position. Also play it long term if you can. Know the rules (your tax code) before you trade. Plan your trades, and enter when the market is cheap like it is now.

It's looking at the odds of success. LTC sucess is tied with BTC success. They peak and bottom out at the same time. Both have market maturity, and any BTC dev is and LTC dev. EOS has proper backing, but lack a working product that is why it should be avoided until a working product is produced since the token is basically useless. BNT is a platform that provides liquidity to many tokens through the BNT token, and it actually works. Orchid is underdevelopment it is legit as in it has proper dev backing. The other 10% should be your swing trading/risky growth positioning. This type of arrangement makes it so your growth is balanced. However if we are talking profit maximization, go all into LTC b/c LTC can hit some crazy numbers this year according to Bix Weir.
