So I fucked up /biz/. Didn't pay taxes for years, while trading on Localbitcoins, Coinbase and Bittrex. All 3 have my IDs and real name. If my country requests the data then I am fucked and going to jail for not paying taxes.
Is there any way I can delete that data from these sites permanently? I'm from EU.

And if I can't delete the data, will moving to another country work as in I won't be prosecuted?

I can't if I wanted to. The earliest trades go as far back as 4 years when I wasn't even 18 yet and some on exchanges where I forgot my passwords/email.

You'll probably just need to pay your taxes + a hefty fine

Ensure that they don't know shit. Don't make strange movements that could bring attention. Use shady exchanges.
>Is there any way I can delete that data from these sites permanently?
EU residents can request the deletion of their personal data to any company under data protection laws in EU

Where are you?

I know at least in Norway that they are very understanding with people who haven't paid taxes on crypto the last few years as the laws have been very unclear. You'd have to pay the taxes now, but probably would not get any fine. Really depends how shitty your country is.

Brainlet question: I made my initial investment in burger land. After the singularity I will go to Germany, fuck around there for over 6 months, open a German bank account, cash out into that, and pay fuckall taxes, then come back where I came from. Will this work or no?

GDPR will come into effect on 25th of may. After that they will have to remove your personal info if you request it. BUT financial info like transactions should be exempt from the data deletion due to financial laws. I. E. they will still keep your transaction records most likely.

Look into taxation laws of your country. At least in sweden you can make corrections after the fact if you notice your errors yourself.

depends if they let you back in or not and on the price, usually things like that become a bit complicated but you should be able to larp your way back. i plan on doing something similar. just don't make any dumb mistakes like cashing a large amount from coinbase into a bank account or do anything suspicious on centralized trash like coinbase and you should be fine
