> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Passively, at least half a million, loaded up with high dividend stocks and ETFs. If you can get 20% a year, which is a good rate of return (but not guaranteed, this year might be rough), but 10% would get you 50k a year, before taxes.

Day trading, nobody can tell you, we have no idea how good at it you'd be, what the market will be like, and you'd need at least a couple grand to get started, and you won't live off it for a while, like a year or two, until you learn the ropes, make your newbie mistakes, and get a grip on it. The time for jumping in and making money off basically anything was last year, this year is shaping up to be a rollercoaster, and you need experience to profit in a market like this.

Get a job, start doing small trades, and learn how to do it, or start socking money into an investment account and let a professional try to get you 20%.

>>8939243
It helps identifying trends, in particular indicators of trend reversal. From the examples in what I have read so far, this seems to be true. Recent action in SPY & BAC, have reversed when indicators became present. I am not seeing any indicators on either that signaled a reversal that did not happen. I would be shocked if it is right 100% of the time, but it seems to be consistent.

could you explain a bit more what you mean? i also dont fully understand those candles, it seeems like they take into account the previous few days and that has the effect of more candles in a trend being red or green, is that what you mean by identifying reversals? your waiting for candle color changes? i've never dealt with them since hiding price action does not seem like a positive to me at all, but i cant say for sure im ignorant of the setup your using

each candle is an average of two days, the current and the previous. As example, if a stock has two green days but had lower lows on both the days the HA candle with be red. When the market is being nuts, red one day, green the next, if you see a flat (small to no body) with large wicks, it is likely a signal of trend reversal.

You're not really hiding price action, you're averaging out to better understand current price relation to the past.

I'm using Ichimoku Cloud, HA candles, RSI, and MACD as my indicators. Has worked pretty well so far. See pic related.

yall think its like an exit strategy for the big guys? i mean its not like ERs are gonna keep rising and rising, and we certainly have stocks that are like $500+/shr with (comparatively) lower EPSs and really huge P/Es > 30. do you think some people are seeing this as a sort of "peak" in the bullish fundamentals in the market?

>>8944917
remember two things:
1) give yourself extra time on the contract
2) until you get comfortable with them use only like $100-$200 position sizes. DONT go drop a thousand on em, especially if youre new.

and a side note, stay away from the really low delta contracts. i find 30-40 delta to be a nice sweet spot for OTM directional plays

Bear markets, especially early ones squeeze like crazy. This is the bear market because realized vol is only going up. Bear markets are not at all like bull markets. It's periods of selling followed by violent squeezes. They start by volatility exploding, and then some events start to hit, and drops become very rapid. Squeezes are also rapid.

To be fair, the earliest they are due is October, which is still a long time away. They've also reduced their debt between '16 and '17, and in their latest conference call they said they aim to reduce it further in '18. So by the time those notes mature they will probably be smaller.

Some dilution will happen, but it's impact this year should be minimal. Having said that, something is definitely funny today with a sharp 7% drop followed by an almost immediate recovery.

i've already done my research on it, they have so many filings but the ones that matter im not going to go through it all to point out all the toxic conv. prefered shares they have on their books.. they have alot! the series D are very toxic at this point.

You can't post all you want about projected earnings and what they assume they will be making if some other competitor doesn't come in and blow them out of the water.

Its speculation with dilution ready to go because they can't get traditional financing because their track record shows they are incompetent and them not being able to file on time just shows that even more.

Pump it all you want. I am not buying, all i see is speculation that they will do better and never have competiton and i see way too much dilution to come

have you ever converted any notes before? I have. I have converted plenty of notes, my partner and I only convert them when they are low, I want discount on stock when its low not when its high. I've done convertable notes, conv. prefs and other investments that are similar to what AMRS has on their books, notes get converted low and prefs get converted whenever they get converted.

If they weren't late on their filings i would point out all sorts of dilution to come, the dilution isn't even in the "debt" the dilution is in their convertable preffered which are extremely toxic.

I do alot of research into stocks, sure AMRS has gained a good amount, but it's only holding due to speculation and they can't even file on time. It reeks of OTC pink sheet behavior imo

Why would investors sign a contract to loan money to amrs with condition that they can only convert around 20 dollars per share, and then actually pay 20 per share when the shares are at 6 dollars.

You seem to be misunderstanding that these investors are actually banking on the companies big success.

Also youre ignoring that if for some reason they did concert, amrs would instantly have no more debt.
