This thing has been due for a retrace for awhile. By pumping up the price each time it's due it's just making the eventual drop worse. We'll never fucking break the downtrend this way.

Exactly this. If you delay a fucking correction so long with fakepumps and manipulation it will come down crashing again. The fact that BTC had a retracement from 19k to 6k is the same reason, only on a larger timeframe.

Also you can already see the FOMO is getting very weak, the pumps get weaker and weaker, which was in the last weeks always a sign of an impending crash. The volume is decreasing as well and when there is no fake pump the price literally doesn't move for hours for more than +/-70$.

The price will get rejected in a while because nobody with half a brain is buying at this point before a correction. Only question is when, not if. In such a manipulated market they try to postpone these events as long as possible to test everybody's patience.
