Okay listen kid. Here is my advice. It is all relative. If your monthly income/net worth is very high 600 dollar sneakers are absolutelt okay (most people obv will never get there). I assume this is not the case as you are 21 and in uni. I am also a man of class and can appreciate a nice pair of sneaker but 600 is excessive. But sometimes being a stupid little spender with your money can be a valuable lesson in the long run - I used to spend money on 100 dollar perfumes, new clothes and shit mostly. So now I have this experience and have learned from it - it actually has made me better with money. So what you should do is buy a new pair of nice nikes/adis for a 100 and invest 500 or alternatively invest all 600.

Gucci sneakers are comfortable, that being said you can buy used ones for like $150-$300. After trying some new ones on and then buying them used there really is a difference from cheap $50 or less shoes. Though I've worn like $120 premium nikes and those are fairly close in comfort as well.
There is a point where its just diminishing returns on comfiness vs cost. I probably wouldnt pay $200 for a pair of shoes and even then itd have to feel like walking on pillows.
