nah that would be transfers from the #1 wallet

Why bother holding on to them?
Circulating Supply
350,000,000 LINK
Total Supply
1,000,000,000 LINK

plenty more to dump later

idk how devs all got away with keeping like 60% of tokens on top of 10s of millions. All these ICOs made out like bandits.

>> No.8846788

they are just obfuscating the target address through binance.
lmao at anyone thinking Sergey is dumping tokens at 30c

Does anyone have a link that explains how original ICO tokens were distributed? I’m aware that they reserved a bunch of tokens for “development” but not sure if they ever said why they split it into a certain number of wallets. There are 8 original team members listed on the website so maybe the one wallet that sells to Binance is actually simply to pay for salaries, office space, etc? Maybe it’s Sergeys wallet. I always assumed the “dev wallets” were for the advisors listed but actually never read anything about that.

It could actually be Sergey’s wallet and that diagram I drew could represent other, new team members being paid in link tokens/choosing to convert to fiat

This would make sense, so yeah anyone got any info on that?

35% are allocated to node operators. And the 30% remaining that belong to the company aren't exactly liquid. The more tokens they sell the less direct stake they have in the network. There's a strong incentive for the project to hold onto the vast majority of their tokens.

>> No.8847081

>>8847066
So the biggest wallet is for the node operators and the other ones are for what? Did they make a press release about that?

>> No.8847160

>Token distribution
>35%—pre-ICO (up to 50% of token sale supply) and ICO (the rest)
>35%—ChainLink Incentives Fund to incentivize node operators
>30%—SmartContract ChainLink, Ltd. to be used at the company’s sole discretion

My guess is that it’s from the 30% to be used at the company’s discretion and they’re using it to pay for staff etc.

Still doesn’t explain the network of wallets, some leading to Binance and some not, that almost seems like obfuscation. Really makes you think

I think it may have been a self fulfilling prophesy, since /biz/ owns a sizable chunk of Link. A few people got fucked over though, so if you really do want to help people, please provide evidence for your arguments (TA, inside info, etc.). Otherwise you are actively causing damage to people who did nothing wrong besides trusting somebody they shouldn't have.
And what would be some names for that "somebody"? Do you want to be that person? You're better than that, anon.

There you go! And agreed, there is definitely going to be a retrace at some point. Personally though, I think 5000 might be a bit low, although it does fit the 50% retrace rule of thumb that most coins follow. People have been holding their Linkies closer lately , so a 25% retrace from here would be about 5250.
It just keeps going up though!

For now, but once it goes live the highest price possible makes the most sense for the longevity of the network.
Billions of IOT devices exchanging data 24/7 will pay .00000000000000001 link per call.
This price will be the equivalent of $.005

>> No.8848931

Also this is like 4 addresses removed from the dev wallet. This could literally be anything. It probably is just a hire selling because they were sold in tokens.

You made it sound like the 5 dev wallets are sending more to binance right now directly when that is not the case at all. Those tokens weren't in the dev wallet for weeks...
