I think this is the new Fed chairman's first meeting. Most new Fed chairman have faced some sort of crisis in their initial months. This is the first non-Jewish chairman in decades, plus someone (allegedly) forced through by Trump. Interest rates are already rising, the expectation is there will be a raise, but the reaction could be extreme either way. Often the market spikes in the wrong direction first for a day or two before the actual reaction to the Fed news sinks in. There's some Audit theFed murmurs from Rand Paul again, and the market always seems to mysteriously tank when these votes come up, as if they are warning people "don't you even fucking try".

So, basically, we could get some wild gyrations up or down in the next few days, everyone will be confused or misdirected, then the market will make it's real move (which I think will be down big).
