I just moved here recently for a good paying job opportunity but I already hate myself for the decision. It's literally just an entire island of suburban wasteland. The only thing to do around here is go to restaurants and bars or malls, with shitty beaches and swampy parks.

The worst part is the rent is ludicrously expensive for no reason other than being relatively in the vicinity of NYC, but its such a cuck fuckery because it takes me an hour and costs me $20 roundtrip just to get to the city.

Literally trapped on a shit island. I hope to save enough and get out of here by six months so I don't look like a complete dick to my current company.

Work in Chicago, live in NW Indiana. 1 hour commute door to door.

Chicago is a great place to do business but it's expensive to live in compared to anywhere besides LA, SF, DC, and NYC. Rent downtown for a 1bd/1ba goes for 1200 at the very lowest. Only cheap places to live in the city proper are very dangerous. NW Indiana is very cheap but there are few rental opportunities that aren't in ugly/dangerous areas (I own a condo in a nice suburb)

Flat-assed, plastic face, bushy, h1h1h1, dumb, submissive, childish and boring women. That's every beta's dream.
