Amyris FOMO edition

Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Should I fomo buy AMRS at market price at the open ?

With the guidance given by Melo, my model shows an average of 50% growth with 65% of gross margin for the next 5 years. EBITDA for 2018 and return to profitability are inline with their forecast.

Even with 90M of shares oustanding, my DCF model gives an SP of 20$ (and with conservative discount and maturity rates).

After and pre market actions suggest people are simply valuing AMRS at 1.5 times its projected 2018 sales (~195M$). That P/S ratio is the same as before the ER.

I think I gonna bite the bullet.

Okay Namaste will remain halted over the weekend. Which... ya know, if you're a bit of a conspiracy theorist, that's a little slimy as it gives shorts a slight advantage to work around the squeeze incoming. Not Namaste's fault though.

Anyway, further to this sales license news, it's not just a regular sales license. It is in fact the first sales/packaging/labeling/product testing license awarded to a Canadian mj company without production/cultivation. The sales license is by far the harder one to get of the two. The reason this is such a big deal is that Namaste does not have to deal with the overhead of cultivation, they can offer the largest range of different strains via partnerships will all the LPs -they already have most of these partnerships in place- and their turnover should be faster as they are not directly affected by cultivation delays.

Monday is going to be fun.

TVIX and UVXY pop hard when volatility soars. it climbs the most when there is a massive selloff in the index that the underlying futures contracts corespond to (either DIA or SPY i can t remember). other guy is going long vol because he thinks fed will knock shit down next week. what i normally do is buy UVXY or TVIX after a rally in the indexes where it looks like it will sell off. then as soon as i get a good pop i get out and take what i got. that thing is like a fucking buzzsaw if it moves against you, but if you get in when VIX is low you can just wait and it will pop when vol comes back

cant tell for sure as i usually trade TVIX because its cheaper and moves pretty much identical, but its low, so id assume that UVXY is a good price under 15 or so. just dont be scared of drawdown, as can always come back in a moment. so i think youll make it as long as you dont wuss out before chairman pow pow knocks it all over

black people ruin everything.

they ruin citys
they ruin countrys
they ruin economys
they ruin the crypto market
they ruin the stock market
they ruin the whole god damn world

just wait till one of the niggers try to sue robinhood after they put their $400 welfare check in and lose it all.

also that guy is an idiot, everyone knows the real beast mode penny stocks are in OTCmarkets

man i WISH we had more ill informed dumb money black people, single mothers, gen z gamblers etc rushing in with their life savings. we might be able to keep the bull alive for another year at that rate.

>also that guy is an idiot, everyone knows the real beast mode penny stocks are in OTCmarkets
right? the penny selection back on the hood is retarded and the free commission doesnt even fucking matter when your buying 10k shares

also this reminds me, some guy was talkin yesterday about robinhood selling data to a company called citadel who then front runs your orders and eats the spread. does anyone have any info on that? sounds exactly like what ive heard people complain about while using limits in RH

theres other options. some guys who day trade have brokers who do percentage based commissions, but i couldnt tell you what ones they are. and schwab (what i use) is the lowest of the obvious ones at 4.95, which is fine so long as you arent buying orders less than 100 shares.

That's pretty lame if robinhood does send incoming order info to Citadel. They're involved in high frequency trading market making, which essentially buys up the market once they know orders are coming, forcing someone to buy a couple cents higher, which all adds up with the amount of times they do this.

They claim they're "providing liquidity".

It would kinda defeat robinhood's "no commission" claims.

well they had to get paid somehow. and it would make sense as to why tons of people complain about limit orders being skewed. and it would also explain why penny stocks that are saturated in RH traders end up being algo driven nightmares out of nowhere.

nothings fucking free. especially so in a zero-sum game

You're right, but I just find it distasteful to just throw your customers directly into an hft meat grinder.

This article is quite good: https://www.barrons.com/articles/exclusive-who-makes-money-on-your-stock-trades-1425103695

It mentions that some brokers (like Interactive Brokers) send most of their client flow to exchanges, rather than straight into the lap of hft market makers.

I think the reason why hft's are paying broker platforms for their order info is likely because it's becoming harder to compete with other hft's by just using incoming order inflow to the actual exchanges.
