No way. Main net will launch Q4 2018 earliest. Then it will take several years for adoption and link does not have such a big first mover advantage as btc. Nowadays new (better coins) are created much faster not many years.

Oracle
- Oracle provides connectivity to outside world
- An oracle is a company which has recently appeared in the smart contract space, whose job it is to translate data into a form that a smart contract can understand. Someone could hire an Oracle to program your concert ticket in a form that could be read by the smart contract, so that the smart contract could properly execute a trade when you fronted the ticket, and they fronted a couple of ETH.
- The problem is that you will be paying a private company to translate your data into a smart contract readable format, then what is the point of even using a smart contract in the first place? The entire point was that we do not have to trust a middleman to make our trade, but now we are using a trusted middleman and both of us must believe that the Oracle is doing an honest job. This defeats the entire purpose.

same with the swift oracle.

How the fuck is decentralization supposed to be possible if all is based on the bank acc reporting its content correctly. All this is done totally centralized.

Only public data can be decentralized, This will only be useful for betting.
