Sup /biz/, a while back I bought a few thousand dollars worth of Divcoins which are proprietary dividend paying shares in mining contracts.

As you probably know, Vault of Satoshi closed down earlier this year, and I can't find anywhere to sell or trade my Divcoins since there seem to be no active markets for it.

Do the contracts with miners expire? I haven't seen any dividends yet.

Halp.

Are you just going to walk up to their IP address and have strong words with them? Maybe you are going to backtrace them through your 1337 skillz?

I'm sorry you were dropped as a child.

You fell for a pump and dump scheme.

Cryptocurrency is a lie.

But they were contracts. Don't those hold any legal weight?

Yeah, when they are legally binding and worth the lawyer fees. I assume that these contracts are notarized with the local authorities? Go ahead walk into a lawyers office and he will ask you who is holding up the other half of your contract. If you know who they are you can go after them, but I don't think you know anything about what you purchased.

You also better hope they reside in the same country as you. Nigeria doesn't give a fuck that its citizens scam people.

That's why I love it. So much money to be made off of idiots and reckless fools.

If by lie you mean that a currency which can't support more than 7tps is unable to complete compete with the current system, then absolutely. But real money is definitely available to the right people.

Your money is being used to fuck ladyboys. You lost your money. This is why cryptocurrency is a pyramid scheme.

This is what happens when you trust Canadians.

OP didn't invest in Bitcoin. He bought "divcoin" which is a dodgy unminable token issued by some random Canadians calling themselves "vault of satoshi".
