This. The core of the project is still just as solid. Exchange drama is temporary. In a few months to a year no one will care. Here are the niches that need to be filled in the next 5 years:

1. Coin for the store of value (absolutely trusted, like a bank account): BTC
2. Coin for running smart contracts (once a killer dApp is developed, a completely new technology): ETH or another smart contract coin
3. Coin for fast, small transactions with no fees for customer (like buying a coffee with cash): Nano
4. Coin for privacy (no normie appeal, likely to be made illegal but still used widely): BTCP

Link is interesting but depends on these niches being filled and actively used. Almost every other coin is part of a dApp (see 2) or is completely and utterly worthless unless you are pump and dump scamming.
