You can see here that BTC first resisted at the 10.8k level when going up, acting as support again on the way down. Then it dipped below 10.6k which acted as support on the way up, and has been resisting going above that ever since. It's not going to go beyond 10.6k unless something magical happens, and it'll go further down.

The first orange arrow indicates the flag pole (how much it went down by on the first dip) before entering the bear flag, and the second one indicates the continuation of this dip (another ~$1100) which is at roughly around 9.5k. It'll go sideways until it intersects the ATH trend line at which point that's a make or break moment.

It is a perfect example of a bear flag.

in this case, that's what you were most likely referring too as the chart is missing the clear downtrend which the bear pennant would form off of, pennant is a continuation pattern meaning that it occurs in the middle of a trend, and the chart you posted has no downtrend which the bear pennant forms from, so I assumed you meant to say triangle as that's what it most closely resembles.
the pattern actually most resembles a symmetric triangle, which shows no strong preference for breakout direction
