I had a contract to fulfill with a huge company and I missed the deadline, went into panic mode and hide and didn't even reply their mails.

How fucked am I /biz/? They are known for being huge jews, Should I try apologizing? I want to cry, I don't want to get sued. I can't even pay my credit card and I live with my parents I have nothing ;_;

Not yet. I was supposed to deliver some artwork, but the contract doesn't specify dates, It says I had to discuss everything with a certain person.

Fuck, wish the contract had searchable text. all pages are images. I feel so sick. I'll probably will bother advice, I have never been there before.

This. I've actually been about 3 days late on a shit ton of contracts. I still get a ton of praise for being quick and getting projects out the door fast.

At first I thought it was just sarcasm, but then I realized that a few days late is actually still pretty good in comparison to other contractors in my field.

Really? Just one day late? Holy shit, I don't know what the exact project is, but one day late isn't usually something to get an anxiety attack over. Just apologize, and if you were sick, just let them know and you'll probably be fine.

Wooooow they forgave me and even asked me how long it will take to finish the job. They were okay with 2 more days and asked me to take care.

Being an adult doesn't seem so hard after all. I guess I can finish the work today with enough painkillers.
