Im not particularly shilling it, considering it's nowhere near implemented and its main use case isnt ready it is doing very well. There is no rush to get in but keep an eye out for the moment the advert service is introduced and invest then. That will probably be in 1-2 months. It is a great use case for crypto and the whitepaper has solid answers to all the flaws that come to mind.

Also BAT's specifically designed via monthly payouts, uphold recirculation, ad purchase and focused use case to be more stable in price and unaffected by wider crypto volatility. Using BTC would negate all of that.

Part of the coins advantage as well comes from Brave, it's not tied to it but brave allows highly targeted ads whilst protecting user data. Hence using the specific platform and its coin rather than just BTC and cpu mining.

As an addition to this: obviously it is not free from volatility and crypto market trends as is. However the plan is that it will be so with growth, dedicated fiat pathways, large purchases by ad companies and fiat to fiat conversion.
