Ok, someone give me the rundown on AMRS. Do they really have some revolutionary new world-changing technologies up their sleeve or is it all a bunch of hype and buzzwords? It looks like they might actually turn a small profit in 2018 and their revenue has been increasing for the last couple of years so that's a good sign at least. On the other hand, if there was so much huge upwards potential for the company then why haven't the big fish gobbled up all the shares yet?

It looks like the share price is gonna keep declining for the time being so I'm just going to sit on my hands and wait for a really good entry point if there ever is one.

I don't pick individual stocks, not enough time to do sufficient research and no interest for it either. So I just buy index funds:
VOO - s&p500
VXUS - non US stock index
CWB - convertible bond fund
BND - bond index

Only other suggestion I'd have is to read through the bogleheads website, and always prepare for the worst because it will eventually come. Have a plan to deal with it (like cash on the side, ready to put to use at pre-determined levels)

I've finally recovered from november

Trading account and Roth IRA.
I had a chance to get out and I passed it by, I am on margin.
I have $8k in the bank which I can use to prevent a margin call, but some of it will be needed for taxes.
