I am a very important business guy.
Even bending down to pick up some pittance left on the ground is far beneath me.
In fact I wouldn't even be walking on such streets. My chauffeur would take me directly where I need to go without having to engage in such trifling activities.

Nigga are you serious?
What would you do for a dollar?
Or five bucks via PayPal?

I usually empty my pockets of coins below £1.
I like to place them on walls as I walk out of a shop or give them to homeless people.
I give away folding money quite often,
Especially if they look desperate or have an entertaining ruse/story.

If I picked up a coin, it would be for this purpose.
Not rich, just comfortably well-off, but I had to hustle hard to get where I am.

Someone more needy (or greedy) will pick it up.
I have been in enough situations where 50p would make all the difference.
Begging does not come easily to everyone.

>'and that please'
>pay with £20 note & get change
>mfw I got free shit and money for going into a supermarket

Also - PROTIP - if you are desperate or have no shame, find coffee shops, bars and pubs with sofas or armchairs.
Walk in, sit on sofa, plunge hand down the sides, retrieve cash.
I would honestly make about £10 per venue doing this.
Don’t believe me?
Ask yourself how many people would think of it, then actually do it.
I only found out about this by actually losing a coin from my pocket and scooping out a bunch of coins retrieving it.
Which is a great cover story if someone asks what you are doing...

Bill Gates Says He Would Pick Up $100 If He Found It On The Ground

Gates says in the video that "all my thoughts about money were formed at a time when $100 really was a substantial amount of money. If it's lying there, maybe it belongs to somebody and you ought to find it for them and return it to them. It'd be nice. They're probably fairly distraught about having dropped it. But I would pick it up and give it to [The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation] because there, $100 actually buys quite a bit."

I've been picking up pennies since I was like 10. I put them in a special jar that was my "street money" jar. At 20 I decided to count it all. It was 1300.46 dollars. 145.00 in pennies. Sure it seems like nothing given the range in time, but it's fucking amazing considering it was coins and the occasional buck on the fucking ground. I also pick up shiny rocks.

A fiver.

Anyway, related story (/biz/ will probably hate me for this).

Back during 2007-2008 I was really into ron paul's presidential campaign. Canvassed places with pamphlets, hung banners from overpasses, went to meetup groups and all that sort of stuff.

So somebody in our group got these little paper squares that were about half the size of $20 bills, and when folded in half looked like the backside of a $20 folded in quarters. If you picked it up and opened it the inside (which you would think would be the front of the $20 bill) was actually a lengthy message about fiat currency and returning to a gold standard and stuff like that. So we thought this was the most hilarious fucking thing in the world, got a bunch of them, and started carrying them and dropping them in public places, then watching what people do.

Funniest shit was at a busy sort of popular country themed bar on a friday night. It was a big bar and we dropped probably a dozen of these things all over the place, sometimes from the second level balcony onto the first level dancing floor. Holy shit did people do crazy things to try to grab them.

>We dropped one by the entrance
>walked away and watched.
>Some guy pushed his way across a sea of people,
>got close to it, then with this ridiculous slyness that he probably that was clever as fuck, inched over to it, and steps on it.
>puts his hands in his pockets, looks around and slowly bends down like he needs to tie his shoe.
>Grabs the paper from underneath his shoe, stuffs it in his pocket.
>Goes to the bar, holds up 4 fingers and asks for something that I would assume is 4 drinks for him and his friends. \
>Bar tender goes away to get his drinks, he's got this big ass smile on his face.
>Reaches into his pocket and pulls out the "20", immediately notices something odd. Unfolds it and gets SUPER mad.
>Scrams away from the bar and into the bathroom.
>Can't stop laughing.
