To add to this, any noticeable trends have to be plotted over months. If your timescale is just a few fucking days, you're just looking at the stochastic nature of the price movements. Actual patterns are not discerned over a few days.

This is crypto. It moves 24/7. I wouldn't expect major upswings on 15 minute candles but if you see something on hour candles or 6 hour candles that can predict short term reversals (think wave 2 or 4).

If you have the balls to ride a double top and then buy the dip you need to be looking at those 1 and 6 hour candles.

I've seen cup and handle break out over this time period. I don't see where you have your justification. If it doesnt break out you will just say it proves your point. It hasn't broken out yet and doesnt have to, but the same psychology and principles that apply to long term trading also apply to short term. Especially while there are so many eyes on BTC atm. Difference being it is not likely to moon, short time frame just makes for smaller effect.
