Good afternoon fellow LINK Marines.

I am the Director of Space Operations (DSO) at Chainlink Space Program (CSP). We will be launching our first mission to the moon today. The mission name is LINK 1. After countless hours of consideration and selection, we have finally chosen the crew that will be flying LINK 1. The crew is as follows:

Captain/Pilot: Jason Parser
Engineer/Co-Pilot/: Chad O. Fork
Scientist: Alice Blaster

Stay tuned for more information. The construction of LINK 1 has started and updates and pictures will be posted shortly.

Thank you for your interest in Chainlink Space Program. Together, we shoot for the stars.

As this is our first mission, we will only be heading to the moon. I will have you all know that none of the crew nor mission control have ever conducted a space mission. This mission will be extremely dangerous.

In place of solar panels, LINK 1 will utilize a Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator to generate power while in space. The RTG and batteries are pictures here.

We have added a small docking port in case of emergencies. This will allow us to dock a refueling barge to LINK 1 if necessary. Also pictured here are the Reaction Control System (RCS) thrusters. These RCS thrusters will allow LINK 1 to maneuver and translate itself within the vacuum of space. RCS uses a special type of fuel called Monopropellant.

Jason Parcel? He’s Rory’s dad. He’s got a problem with Sergey because when Rory and Sergey were friends when they were younger, Sergey used to raid the cupboards and eat everything in the house. It cost Jason Parcel a lot of money to replace all the food Sergey used to eat. The final straw was when Sergey was staying at Rory’s one night and stole his car when they were 15 to sneak out to a McDonald’s drivethru. Rory’s dad Jason thinks Sergey is a bad influence on his son and does anything he can to stop them being friends or working together. Why do you think we haven’t heard from Sergey in so long? Jason Parcels has been staying with Rory and Sergey has been in hiding shitting his pants.

LINK 1 may be in space, but the adventure has just begun. There are many challenges that the crew of LINK 1 will face before arriving at the moon. As of right now, LINK 1 is on a trajectory with the earth. Pilot Jason Parser will accelerate in a prograde vector at apoapsis, the highest point in the trajectory or orbit. This will put LINK 1 into orbit.

The last communications with Jason Parser and Alice Blaster were at 5:58 PM. Their families' were told that they died from a hull breach of their spacecraft... LINK marines know the truth.. Jason and Alice sacrificed themselves for the betterment of LINK. They will forever be remembered as the heroes who brought LINK to the moon.

Thank you LINK 1 Crew.

Fate has ordained that the LINKmarines who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.
These brave marines, Jason Parser and Alice Booster, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
These two marines are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for decentralized oracles.
They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her children into the unknown.
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these marines were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
