/biz/ is to crypto what the NYSE trading floor is to the stock market, whereas r/cryptocurrency is like cnbc or something. you can get some good content there, but always after the fact, and its always watered down with fags and constant politics. I can say or observe the word nigger here and no one would bat an eye, but there is an underlying level of political pervasiveness on reddit that limits conversation regardless of the particular subreddit's content
