Got a B.S. in psych. As I was finishing a swarm of professors told me that getting a master's in HR would be a good financial decision. My boomer parents agreed. Tons of jobs, and tons of money they said.

You actually get some of the money though as long as you pass. Oh I don't even remember this any more but let's say you get 35% written off for passing your bachelor. And on the master they will write off 65 or 70% I think it was. But this only applies if you are renting and live by campus. If you live by your parents or other relatives, you can't write anything off.

So as long as you pass your bachelor you get

I left with degree in hand, realizing that I taught myself 90% of everything without even having any guidance/help. They were just there to give me assignments. I wasn't even pointed in the right direction, just fucking given a plop of work to do.

I thought about suicide for about a year and a half at least weekly.
