Who is the fucking Kraken Dev Team?
They have to learn deploy 101...
FFS!... 48hours downtime?
How will they compensate the users?

Better question: how long before the devs go for another 10-hour nap? It's been like two days now

Probably, but withdrawals will probably be limited initially

Even these retards can see there'll be a run on the exchange as soon as they open. No matter how good this upgrade is, who the fuck trusts them with their money now

> The dollar hit 0 bitcoin
> "we aren't going to zero like this!"
So did he mean USD is dead of BTC is dead?
I am confused by his second sentence. Sounds like he doesn't want BTC to moon to infinity wrt USD.

I think he meant they aren't going to get to zero at the rate they're going and have to work harder.

Think about this for a second, goy

>upgrade supposed to last two hours
>zero roadmap for what's being upgraded
>devs put up a shitty HTML page as a placeholder
>every few hours we get OH NO LEL ANOTHER BUG DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR FUNDS GOYIM ;^)
>devs are apparently working in some kind of sleepless panic instead of following a structured deployment plan
>Forty. Eight. Hours. Downtime.

Either they're doing something shady or they are just totally, utterly shit at this. Even if they haven't been hacked, the current display of their engineering ability will have every skid in the third world trying to find holes in the upgrade until they ARE hacked

Anyway no one can panic sell anything, kraken has now become the thinking man's hodl platform

The only question here is why they haven't rolled back the upgrade when the deployment issues first appeared. It could be that they can't, for one reason or another, but it's more likely that they just don't want to. The old system was absolutely bursting at the seams throwing errors left and right during peak hours, so going back to it is only marginally better than extending downtime.
