Honestly I think it would be tough for women or men.

Being fat and being undisciplined or unhealthy have a strong correlation, and people treat fatties like jokes. Being overweight is also more common among the poor, and if you weren't born at least into the upper middle class, your chances of achieving important positions approach zero.

I do work with a producer who is pretty fat. Call me a jerk, but I don't take him as seriously as I would a guy who could keep it trim.
