That is sound reasoning, I am still hesitant on the Bitcoin movement, it clearly hasn't gone down to where people expected it, Novogratz who was going insane when it was about to hit 20k said it was going to go to 25 then 30k and everyone believed him then when it crashed to 11k he said it was going to go down to 8k. None of this has happened and other people have though speculated in a similar fashion to Novogratz. I am unsure on the reasons behind this current movement and there is a lot of bearish news looming in the distance in China, SKorea, SEA, Europe and the US but on the TA side of things people expect BTC to first retest ATH then eventually hit 22k or slightly above and its that euphoria of another ATH which could be an issue. However there are also the issues of BTC market dominance and I think after ripple lead the charge people are still bullish on their altcoins and want more time to accumulate BTC before another run but they might get left in the dust or it could be as you say, its a feint bull run that will correct soon enough with smart money taking profit.
