not sure if this will pump the token but it's yet another instance of the token being needed.
Paying for TX on transporter with LINK gives you a discount, so frequent bridgers would benefit from buying the token.
Txs paid in other format are converted behind the scenes to LINK to pay the node operators, which drives demand for Link.

So if this thing is used LINK is needed. Hope this helps anon

Welcome to https://transporter.io, a website-hosted user interface (the “Interface”) made available by PAE Operations II Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). The Interface provides information and enables access to the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (“CCIP”), a cross-blockchain messaging protocol powered by decentralized oracle networks using the Chainlink software (the “Chainlink Network”). The Interface is in the “beta” stage of development. There can be no guarantee that any of the contemplated features of the Interface will be implemented as specified or at all or that the Interface will be available or fit for a particular purpose.

CCIP does allow for bridging of any erc-20 token across blockchains though. Users can transfer tokens from smart contracts or external owned accounts (EOAS) to different blockchains. The off-chain shit like the decentralized oracle networks (DON) and the active risk management will facilitate that shit too. For example, each token has its own token pool that acts as an abstraction layer over erc 20 tokens - enabling onramp and offramp token ralted operations. Like burning, locking, unlocking, MINTING on the DESINTATION chain.
Literally feed chat GPT anything I'm telling your right now and you'll see it's not larp. So yes, this will allow someone on ethereum mainnet to deploy a contract on the base chain.

Aviators stay in our own lane so, so I'm not sure why Linkies wanna start fudding us now. AVI SkyBridge will let you bridge/deploy ANY token/NFT instantly, and in bulk at a cheaper cost, than Link while also taking care of cross chain liquidity (transporter doesn't even let you deploy any token). It will allow your market maker to take advantage of arbitrage opportunities and continue to dump tokens on you whenever the price goes up a tiny bit (in addition to Sergei dumping on you, see pic attached). We are also a gaming platform too that's creating something like web3 steam/newgrounds as well. As my Aviator tokens continue to moon in the near future with test net and prod on the way, I will consider buying Link OTC just to spend my spare time dumping on you.

>> No.58367018

>>58366990
bridging is a tough problem. every bridge produces canonical bridge tokens. while your Skybridge can bridge any token, they will be skyTokens on the other side. unless there is liquidity for the skyToken on the bridged chain, it won't be usable for anything. this is the real problem that bridges need to solve, beyond just creating secure architecture for bridging to take place

SkyBridge also functions as a liquidity pool. Also, by allowing teams to bridge any arbitrary token instantly and at a bulk cost, it makes it easy for them to create liquidity pools with their bridged tokens. The difference is that Chainlink released a bridge of their own powered by CCIP for people to use. You can use Chainlink's bridge "transporter" or use some other bridge. This fud again huh?
Could you build a Chainlink clone and base it off a different currency/crypto? Yes. You could build a Chainlink clone that pays validators in Eth.... Or USDC for that matter.

The very clear reason you don't want to do this
1. You take on any inherent risks to those alternative currencies (eth changing issuance curve, USDC systemic failure, etc.) - anything bad that could happen to those alternatives could then negatively impact the security of the decentralized oracle network. It's pretty easy to see that it's in everyone's best interest to decouple chain agnostic oracle networks from native tokens or stablecoins.

2. TransferAndCall is needed which didn't exist on other ERC-20 tokens prior to LINK

The Chainlink Foundation was announced around the same time they started calling themselves Chainlink Labs I'm pretty sure. It's extremely vague and I don't think anyone knows who or what the fuck the "Chainlink Foundation" actually is and how it's tangibly different from Chainlink Labs. It's all part of the absurd juxtaposition of Chainlink projecting virtues about truth > trust while they often conduct themselves with vague ambiguities where no one really knows what the fuck is going on.

Mr dear Pajeet, the word you're looking for is actually "permissioned" over "closed source". Closed sourced semantically makes no sense when you're describing the nodes of a network.

Yes you can build apps with CCIP.

https://docs.chain.link/ccip/

It's getting access to mainnet that you have to contact Chainlink directly. Dude, integrations aren't a done in a day type of thing, it takes months to integrate and test and audit.

>Paying for TX on transporter with LINK gives you a discount
in other words the price going up makes the fees more expensive until the point where the "discount" is higher than the average payment

the only way this system works is if chainlink price stays low be that with minting LUNA style or simply lack of interest because bridges are a dead narrative and chainlink is offering too little too late
