In the same way that all classes of gold miners benefit from high gold price, I think all stages of oil production will benefit. Energy input prices in general affect the rest of the economy, though it can take months or years for the effect to be felt.
You could long spot oil (USO) or get a broad etf, but I think your best bet might be a mature company that has vertical integration (production, processing, pipeline). XOM is probably a safe choice, though I also like OXY because it leased some zero emission natgas=>ammonia production from a private company (I don't care about green shit but I think this was a factor for why Buffett bought a bunch a while ago). Ammonia is used for feedstock for urea and fertilizer production, so they might become attractive if oil goes way higher.

Gold mining has explorers, juniors, royalties, and largecaps. Explorers basically depend on finding a good deposit or diluting for years and failing. Juniors are able to produce, but typically depend on the price of gold and oil, so it can take years before it comes online again in a normal case. Royalties lease their properties and collect gains. I find them to be a comfy long term hold. Largecaps are usually international with dozens of mines. They have reduced upside because they are highly corporatized and diversified.

Plus you have to know the management teams. Something like BHS is a lifestyle company that isn't going to work, and something like Barrick has a lot of pajeet middle-upper management which is a red flag

Things take time to play out. For macro-based trades, I usually expect 6 months to 2 years in most cases.
Look at NVDA for example - it clearly is following the asset bubble chart. It's hard to tell if hit the second top or if this is part of the consolidation, but I think the upside is quite limited from here.
