Renting makes more sense than being a home owner.

>no debt
>No upfront cost
>Can leave whenever I want if niggers invade my town
>With all the money I have left over I can dump more into crypto

The only advantage of owning is that you can decorate your house to your liking and you theoretically can stay there until you die, but the future is so uncertain that tying yourself to a specific location is a terrible choice.

You obviously grew up in a house that your parents owned.

I experienced living in a stable home from 1990 until 2000 when my parents were forced to sell the home to pay off failed business debts

From then onwards we rented, and constantly moved from rental to rental, i fucking hated it, being a rentoid was pure depression 24/7/365, never getting to feel secure in the place you are in, having to go through the humiliation ritual of inspections, not being able to do anything, never feeling grounded to the place you live

Renting fucking sucks. My dream is to make enough money to go buy my childhood that my parents were forced to sell.

I was literally 12 years old crying

I was literally 12 years old crying when they sold the house. I was young back then but I still remember how humiliating and pathetic it was to be renting. I remember even being bullied for it a few times

>LOL ANONS PARENTS ARE RENTING LOLOLLO HAHAHA ANON IS POOOOOR

You have adopted an "own nothing, be happy" mentality. It's also a "do nothing, be happy" mentality. What sort of hobby can you engage in cramped in a tiny apartment? You can't craft anything because of space needed for materials. You can't sell much online because of no space to store things. Do you like gardening? Too bad. Enjoy cooking? There's no space for everything you need. Do you want to even own a happy pet? That's not going to happen living in an apartment. It won't be happy, not unless it's a goldfish. This is why so many people game now. They just live in their fucking computer because there's no space to do anything.

No he just grew up in a secure comfy home that his parents owned and never experienced what its like to be a pathetic rentoid, so he now thinks its some epic exciting journey

Sort of like how rich kids go join hippy communes and drink piss water and eat food full of maggots because they want to "experience" something different

I'm about ready to sell my house.
>save up bitcorns and buy house cash
>realtor is useless, overpay a shitload, no inspection
>would have had a million dollar portfolio instead have a falling apart shitbox
>only saving grace is I can walk to the beach

Holy fuck I'm starting to regret this every little thing is falling apart and going wrong and tradespeople are the most nigger brain people I've ever encountered.
>install chimney liner
>they do shitty fucking job and I realize the job is half assed when it starts leaking rain water a year later
>decide to call someone else to fix/improve it
>they grumble "just text me your address"
>don't text back for hours
>they get to my house, don't have their own ladder
>wtf I told them it was a chimney, get my ladder and we go up
>not interested in doing the job, not even an f-u quote
>wasted both of our time

I've just been renting since college and I really want to have owned space where I don't have to give a fuck about sharing walls with neighbors. In a duplex with good neighors now which is still miles better than an apartment, but I just want that freedom of being in fully owned space.

You're 20 years old and one of these cave trolls approaches you
You have to cater to their every need and have sex on demand for the next 15 years, as compensation, you will receive 5 million dollars and inherit a 2 acre estate in the coastal city of your preference.
What do you do?

Fucking retard, you were gonna buy in cash so you should have done an inspection, they would have waited on you even during the retard market during covid since you had the money in hand instead of buying it on debt that might not be paid off. Of course you're gonna get a crumbling shitbox if you just blindly buy something without inspecting first like all the faggot Californians did. Retard.

This would only be said by someone who lives with their parents or worse, someone who lives with their grandparents. I know this comment will be forgotten so I'm going to give you a couple of tips anon:
-never trust a Jew
-invest in projects like Ripple or 1Intro.
-if a woman invites you to her house, take a shower

it's such a pain in the ass, the only way owning a home could be considered less costly is to inherit one instead of buying one, see what i mean?

but meh, doesn't matter, i already live on a nice apartment by myself, have a nice job, invest and trade from time to time, using dextools cuz most of my shit is decentralized (for max gains), etc
i'm living the dream basically
