It's not a matter of volatility so much as trust.
I've held bitcoin for many years, without having to worry that someone is going to suddenly update the proxy contract and rug me, or that it will revealed that bitcoin was actually backed by nothing all along.
If nobody promises you anything, you don't have to worry about false promises.

I trust usdt more because they pretty much told feds and speculators to go fuck themselves. With usdc you never know when someone will fuck with it or pull the plug. That said they are both an an even faker fiat so your absolutely retarded to hold either for more than the time it takes to transfer and trade whatever you're doing. At least with crypto on an exchange they should have the crypto backing. Stable coins are backed by nothing

I would feel sick in my stomach if I had more than 4fig on USDT, but why do you think that usdc is just as bad?
