To avoid being labeled a security (which would get them shitcanned hard by the SEC), they've had to jump through a few legal hoops. The main one being that you have to pay for the gas to withdraw your earnings. That effectively means that you're paying between $1-2 for every withdrawal, depending on the current price of ETH. (Currently set at 0.002 ETH per coin) So if you're looking to pull money out every week, youre probably gonna be paying more in fees than you earned.

COSS has said that they plan on refining the system in time to be much less costly, and the possibly that all coins will be able to be convereted to ETH for easy withdrawl, but they were mostly focused on getting the payout system up and running first. The snapshot is taken each sunday at a preannounced eth block. Dividends are distributed and available to be withdrawn or converted to eth on the following tuesday. In the case of nonERC tokens, the conversion takes the price from CMC at the time of conversion, not the time of the snapshot, so you can play the numbers a bit by waiting to do conversions until ETH is having a down day. Converted ETH still has to be withdrawn. If you let it sit you'll be able to withdraw/convert single weeks' dividends or every accumulated week's dividends for each coin, but as of now there's no "distribute all" or "convert all" option, so you have to do it for each coin.

I think it's just general overload across the ecosystem. We doubled the entire crypto marketcap in the space of a month. That's bound to put pressure on a lot of systems that weren't expecting it.

Betting on an exchange that hasn't even broken top 100 is incredibly risky. Not to mention it wouldn't even be close to top 100 if they weren't running this pyramid shit with their coin

I'd imagine that most people here aren't all in on COSS but on other stuff too and want to make early-adopter gains, which it will make almost guaranteed with such a low marketcap.

Of course it's a risk but in a market that allowed a coin about a dog, an anime coin, an inoperable dinosaur coin, and literal scams to burst to the moon and beyond, i'm optimistic.
