BTW make sure you set the approval for their address to 0 before transferring any more linu to that wallet, otherwise they'll be able to transfer out any linu you transfer in. Make a new wallet if you don't know how to do that.

that being said if i were you i'd start over on a fresh new wallet. you're obviously new to this and you have trust issues (that is, you trust random people). so you shouldn't trust me, you should learn to play it safe by default
a seed phrase can generate infinite wallets so there's no reason to stick to just one wallet
also for the sake of your poorfolio please move to a rollup like base or arbitrum

Use metamask with a hardware wallet like ledger or trezor. If you created your wallet using metamask your seed is stored in the extension so it can be stolen via virus or your password can be stolen by keylogger when you type your password in.

that was me actually, i'll explain how it happened with proof

so basically i logged in thru metamask to check my linu

i was messing around shibaswap and uniswap comparing the two,

i was also interested in the treat token from shiba inu but its available only on shibaswap

so i did something stupid, i did something i never do and i went to shibaswap THROUGH my metamask wallet app and as you know its dogshit

anyways.i click a site and end up on a site called

"shubaswap.com"

i was lacking sleep and didnt think much of it, the website on the top right had an option to connect wallet which was normal enough, i clicked it once, and then another time

all of a sudden it asked for my seed phrase and i stupidly entered it.

anyways they siphoned out all my fucking LINA INU

which was like 1.5T and 800B in another wallet under the seed phrase, i have legit proof btw.

anyways im not salty, at the time i managed to transfer out 6k worth of eth before they could get more,

i had enough time to also transfer my linu out, at the time it was only worth a few k and i was at work with both my vice presidents there so i opted just to focus on work.

i hope i didnt make a M+ or B+ mistake lol.

anyways im happy for the scammers that they didnt sell, i hope they needed the money.

im not salty bc i still have a nice healthy chunk of change in LINU, and who knows? maybe if they didnt steal it i would have prematurely sold it and not even have the LINU i have now. See how that works?
