mainnet has been out since mid last year
but only a few users have been live (whitelisted)
this is exactly what they did with price feeds
on mainnet but essentially an extended testing period with a small number of selected teams
however in last couple of weeks quite a few teams have gone live
so i think general access will be close
also for any airdrop hunters, xswap who launched with them a month ago is doing an airdrop

Other projects like AVAX have inflation from unlocks/staking. They don't have literal market dumps from the CEO with 50% of the supply unlocked in his wallet.

It is out. But you need to contact Chainlink for mainnet access. This is what Fuddies are griping about; it not being in "general access". But they also have a false understanding on how it works. General Access release won't change the price and no you won't get a bridge to move your tokens to a different blockchain. CCIP is tech has to be integrated into a dapp and it's used so that you can seamlessly run your protocol irrespective of the blockchain the user is on.

In other words, you're waiting on the dapp developers to rebuild their dapps using Chainlink. This is what you want. Xapps that everyone is using and this will drive the price up.
