Last cycle, I refused to buy into shitcoins that had already pumped x5 or x10 from the all time low, just to watch them do another x10 or even x50 from that point. I suffered insane fomo, but when the price rose even further the thought of buying in was even more painful. I missed a ton of moon missions this way.

In addition, I thought that coins needed to have any sort of "fundamentals" or solve some technical / business problem in order to be viable. I was convinced that memecoins were a scourge and would die off as quickly as they came. How wrong I was. Crypto doesn't solve a single real problem except that it's really good for playing around with money, aka gambling. Even "useful", programmable crypto (like e.g. ETH) is only used to create more get quick rich schemes and gambling coins. "Fundamentals" and other technical BS is just marketing that's tailored to nerds. Fuck this. It's all marketing BS anyway. And in marketing, memes > tech.
