How is /biz/ still this dead? There hasn't been even a remote increase in posting even considering BTC is dangerously close to the first peak last cycle. Its kind of unreal.

Retail has virtually ZERO interest right now. Its not like the traffic just moved to different platform. Its just non existent. Someone do TA on the stats chart. Kekek

Its probably both, retail has lost interest and 4chan/biz is dead

Retail lost interest because everyone knows bitcoin by now, and they either think its a scam or are already invested

Biz being dead is because crypto isnt a niche anymore, you get crypro news on major sites and social media, no reason to visit a niche text board

I dont think we will get increased traffic even at 100k

This is decent speculation. It didn't seem to me that the traffic just moved elsewhere to Twitter lets say. I thought there was an air of mystery for normal people surrounding 4Chan as if the autists here had some more indepth insight.

At one point they did imo however much of it is just shilling and advertisements without any real discussion or research.

I'm still mind blown the posting is at bear market lows though.

Here’s the real reason. This is no longer a “young persons” site. This is a site for late 20s through late 30s men. People in this age group are either married (and have bills/obligations that can’t be risked on shitcoins) or just feel like they’re too old to put $5000 on dog memes. Some may have made it already.

The young people who are actually idealistic enough to invest in crypto are on discord and telegram. They just don’t come here anymore. So the true “retail” for this bullrun won’t be on 4chan

This.
It won't be long now - and all media everywhere will talk about crypto again several times per day.
It's when they want (you) to buy. They did not want normalfaggots in yet this cycle. Or else we'd have seen different headlines and reporting already. We really do live in a simulation. Understanding this will make you rich.

It has moved to Twitter. It's a far better platform than this place, with way more features. Most importantly, no one has to put up with trolls there. One click and they're gone forever. As a result people tend to be better behaved. Plus it has Spaces.
This place can be fun but it's outclassed by Twitter, I'm afraid to say.

The problem is the dynamics around posting hidden gems has been changed completely by pajeet/telegram spammers. At least back in 2017 every shit project still put some effort in a whitepaper even if it was full of gibberish (timereum lmao), nowadays there are 1000 new coins created every day and if you just let everyone post each of them the legitimate posts will just get drowned out.

Board was much faster before. One to one and half hour with inactivity and the thread would be archived. Now, the last year or so, it can take half a day and even up to one day before a thread is archived. Boring threads were not responded to, before, and people were afraid of having their tokens in threads on /biz/, as there was always some anon finding fatal flaws in code, team etc. Nobody wanted potential investors to see that in the archive. That we now have mods and jannies that function as a filter for what we can see and determine what is good threads and good gems, instead of the board itself doing the selection process, is completely alien to the previous board culture.

Worse, now even effortposting and genuinely finding hidden gems will give you a one week ban, while others, like the KDA/Coinmetro trannies can spam their thread every single day and literally discuss the joy of having sex with dying animals. I once reported such a comment and got myself banned for three days, while nothing happened to the "sexual nirvana of having sex with a dead animal" post. They also operated outside /biz/ and organize fud raids. That's so tiresome and inorganic.

Only threads that obviously are organized from outside and bumped artificially to keep boring threads alive, ought to be pruned/deleted by mods. Outside the usual (porn, etc) of course.

So on /biz/ you can post blatant false information to deliberately hurt legit crypto projects, and nothing happens. You can also post about how to best ejaculate in dead animals, and the joy of doing so, and nothing happens. However, if you do research and find a hidden gem, effortposting, you will be banned for a week for "advertising". This is the insane reality for posters on /biz/ now. Total clownworld.
